Sugar Gum Shelter

2018 - 2019
The ‘Sugar Gum’ Shelter is a 4m x 4m timber frame extension to my existing workshop. As the name suggests, the frame was built from Sugar Gum trees which were sourced from a 30 year old farmland shelter belt plantation. Built using Traditional timber framing methods, the frame is held together by mortice and tenon joinery and hand carved oak pegs.
