Sugar Gum Shelter

The ‘Sugar Gum’ Shelter is a 4m x 4m timber frame extension to my existing workshop. As the name suggests the frame was built from Sugar Gum trees which were sourced from a 30 year old farmland shelter belt plantation. Built using Traditional Timber Framing methods the frame is held together by mortice and tenon joinery and hand carved oak pegs.
